AP300 Bifold Doors

The AP300 bifold door system features glazing from 28mm doubled glazed up to 48mm triple glazing offering thermal performance for all applications upon request. This system can achieve U-Values from 1.2W/m²K – 1.5W/m²K, depending on the combined efficiency of the glass and frame. In addition to our standard thermal performance, the system can be enhanced on request. This is achieved by APS inserting foam into the section online by our state of the art machines. This increases thermal performance without any additional processes by the manufacturer.

APS architectural windows and doors are coated with polyester powder in any RAL colour and finish, adhering to BS6496 standards with a thickness of up to 60 microns. We also offer a variety of paint finishes, including metallic, anodic, and textural options. The powder coating guarantees a durable, fade-resistant colour. Additionally, APS provides profiles for dual-color windows, residential doors, bi-folding doors, and lift-and-slide patio doors, all crafted in-house by our skilled aluroller machine operators. This range will meet all your clients’ design needs.

APS Architectural Systems are offered with a variety of hardware and ironmongery options. Hardware orders are made simultaneously with profile orders, ensuring that the fabricator receives all necessary components to create high-quality windows and doors. Our hardware is chosen from specialized manufacturers who have conducted independent tests to meet relevant security standards, including PAS 24.

APS architectural aluminium systems are crafted from aluminium alloy 6060 or 6063 T5 and T6, adhering to BS 1474 recommendations and featuring 34mm polyamide strips. These systems are designed for simple manufacturing and construction, ensuring optimal functionality once installed. Beads, gaskets, and cleats are largely standardized across various window and door systems to reduce waste. Outer frame and sash profiles are mitre cut, cleated, braced, and crimped to achieve a seamless finish. Mechanical cleats are also available, eliminating the need for crimping and allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly of windows and doors during transport and installation. Additionally, structural profiles are available for larger spans, along with extruded aluminium cills and cill liners.
