VEKA Recycling has achieved significant milestones in terms of CO2 reduction and the recycling of uPVC windows. They offer a convenient and straightforward service and are certified for their energy management system and quality management.
We work with VEKA Recycling, a specialist in recycling ‘end of life’ uPVC windows and doors. VEKA Recycling has developed an innovative recycling process that closes the PVC material cycle, allowing uPVC products to be recycled and extruded into new ones.
VEKA have made a significant investment in ‘closing the loop’ on the PVC material cycle. The construction sector accounts for 20% of EU plastic production. With PVC products that can have as much as 350 years of usage through recycling and re-use, we’re onboard with VEKA’s commitment to minimising manufacturing and post-consumer waste.
VEKA’s own recycling process minimizes harmful CO2 emissions by avoiding incineration, and manufacturing quality PVC. Up to 40,000,000 windows are in circulation with recycled cores to help close the manufacturing loop.
