Glazing Bar
Ultraframe Glass Roofs come with unique glazing bars. The ‘teeth’ anchor mechanism allows the top cap to fit tightly. The wine glass shape provides rigidity and resistance against wind and snow loads.
We’ve partnered with engineering experts at Ultraframe to supply market-leading glazed conservatory roofs. As the first ever glass conservatory roof system to be BBA approved, this system is a popular choice with over 1.5 million roofs installed throughout the UK. Every glazed roof is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity, just one of many benefits of our unique, building regulation compliant systems.
With large glass panes and high-performance features, our glazed roofs will enhance the thermal efficiency of any commercial or residential project while adding a stunning, eye-catching centrepiece. Not only are our Ultraframe roofs versatile enough to suit any architectural style, but they have been manufactured using modern engineering techniques and materials and represent the cutting edge of conservatory roof technology.
Here at APS Group, we are committed to supplying quality roofing systems. Our glazed conservatory roofs have been expertly engineered for over three decades with our partners at Ultraframe.

Our glazed conservatory roofs come with eaves beam support and structural goalposts to relieve the pressure on the doors and frames.
Bolsters and goalposts allow the means to create large spans of bifolding doors. With goalposts, there is potential to create spans of up to 6.5m or 10m with lift and slide doors.
Our structural goalposts can be hidden in brick piers or our super-insulated columns for a more streamlined and professional appearance.

Our glass conservatory roof systems are packed with advanced components to promote structural strength and security.
Our glazed roof systems come with options for roof vents. With a uPVC welded frame to avoid leaks, you can choose from automatic or manual roof vents to improve airflow. These are available in any colour to match the range of customisation already available.
These internal pelmets run around the perimeter of the glazed roof to evoke the look and feel of an orangery or living room, providing a helpful space to install lights or speakers. The internal insulated pelmet has variable widths from 300mm to 1200mm available.
Super-insulated columns are five times more efficient than brick pillars. They still allow for maximised garden views and great aesthetics alongside bifold doors.
These thermally efficient columns are available at the house wall, corners and between window frames.
