Why Choose Our Flat Rooflights?

Ultraframe flat rooflights are manufactured using aluminium. Aluminium has a high strength-to-weight ratio, so our flat rooflights have slimmer profiles while still maintaining their strength. As a result of this, our flat rooflights will maximise sightlines and add a sleek and sophisticated touch to any building.

The aluminium also means that our Ultraframe rooflights can be relied upon to last for many years. It’s a durable and incredibly tough metal, and the lifespans are extended even further by the double-seal gaskets. Their high compression ensures that the seals will not degrade over time, so there’s less risk of draughts or water ingress.

Thermally Efficient Rooflights

Here at APS Group, we are committed to making your commercial or residential project more thermally efficient with the help of our flat rooflights.

Innovative Technology

Our flat rooflights come with various features that promote their energy efficiency, including their fully-insulated frame with ‘Warm Frame’ technology. They can also be fitted with an optional thermally efficient kerb to enhance their performance further.

As a result of their numerous features and insulation, our flat rooflights can achieve an overall U-value of 1.2 W/m²K. You’ll be providing your customers with a room that is naturally warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

Glazing

To improve their heat retention, our flat rooflights come with highly efficient glazing. This special glazing helps reduce heat loss and noise pollution while still maximising the amount of natural light that gets inside.

The outer glass layer consists of 6mm of Toughened Optical Neutral glass or 16mm of an argon-filled cavity with a warm edge spacer. The inner layer consists of 4mm or 6mm high-performance, low E toughened glass. Because of their excellent performance, the glazing of our flat rooflights has a U-value of 1.0 W/m²K and G-values of -0.5 for clear glass and -0/3 for blue glass.
