The Structural Glazing curtain walling system incorporates glazed panels to ensure that buildings receive an abundance of natural light and workers can enjoy uninterrupted views of the local skyline. The system supports glass panels ranging in thickness from 28mm to 36mm, all of which are double glazed as standard.
This is dry-glazed using high-performance captive gaskets that are fixed in special grooves within the sections. Glazing support blocks aid drainage and ventilation, preventing water from getting trapped and causing long-term issues.
This system can house the APS Group SGV Structurally Glazed Vent – a ‘frameless’ vent with stepped units that results in a flush, uninterrupted glass frontage with clean external sightlines.
