Lightweight Foam Sheets

Foamex also referred to as PVC foam sheeting, are flat, non-porous boards that provide a smooth surface for digital flatbed printing. They can be easily cut, bonded, or fabricated to meet your specific requirements. Our Foamex boards are resistant to moisture absorption, so even with prolonged outdoor use won’t deteriorate. They were originally made for use as indoor signage, but thanks to their smooth finishes and durability, have proven popular for outdoor use as well.

Please note that while our Foamex boards are highly durable, they are not recommended for applications involving impact and can become brittle at temperatures below -10°C. However, for most indoor and outdoor applications, Foamex boards are an excellent choice.

Materials

Foamex boards are made by compressing foam polyvinyl chloride into rigid boards, which results in a lightweight and durable sheet that is well-suited for printing and design use. It can be easily cut, bonded, or fabricated to create custom shapes and sizes and as it’s non-porous, won’t experience issues associated with water damage.

Our Foamex Board is available in various grades, colours, and sheet sizes, allowing you to choose the perfect option for your project. It is also fire retardant according to EN13501.

Digital Printing On Foamex Boards

Billboards and signage are everywhere and it’s all but impossible to go outside without encountering at least one example. Foamex has become a product of choice for most marketing professionals and is ideally suited for digital printing. The boards are comparatively lightweight and easy for signs to handle, but also robust enough that they’re unlikely to be damaged in the printing process, or by exposure to the elements. 

Additionally, Foamex is comparatively easy to mount in brackets, on walls or anywhere else that requires signage. The boards can be supplied with pre-drilled holes and they can also be fixed to poles, secured with velcro or other means.
